The well stock under control

The wells that need attention

When readings drift, the system raises an alarm for the complication and highlights the well in the stock list, so the engineer knows where to start the shift.

Operating mode and well potential

Operating-mode tracking
The field operating mode is kept in the system and updated as conditions on the wells change.
Frequency change
The expected change in well rate at a different ESP frequency.
Gas-lift rate change
The expected effect of increasing or reducing the injected gas volume.
Choke-size change
The expected change in rate at a different choke diameter.

The well's potential when switching to a different artificial-lift method.

Frac
The rate gain after a frac and the mode the well runs in afterwards.

How much the inflow improves after treating the near-wellbore zone.

Recalculating the hanging depth for the current pressure profile.

How the water cut changes after shutting off water inflow.

Run the options before you act

A separate project
You create a project for a specific task: revising the regime for a pad, say, or reallocating lift gas across a group of wells.
Scenarios inside a project
Within a project you can run several optimisation scenarios with different inputs.
Potential and total production
Each scenario calculates well potentials and the project's expected total production.

Lift gas reallocation
Lift gas is allocated across wells so that total production is maximised for a limited volume.
Power reallocation
Well power consumption is balanced within the available capacity.
System constraints
Recommendations are formed with the constraints of the whole system in mind, not one well in isolation.

From a well model to a field decision

For example, a production engineer in IDT Well retunes a problem well's model to new telemetry, and the updated model is immediately available in the IDT Asset scenario: you can recalculate how a mode change on one well will affect power allocation across a group or the field without rebuilding the calculation by hand.

The upper level of well-stock management

IDT Asset covers the upper level of well-stock management, from monitoring and operating mode through to intervention selection and resource reallocation between wells. Unlike IDT Edge, which acts locally and autonomously at a pad or well, IDT Asset gives the production engineer and production manager a tool for decisions at the level of the entire asset. The main users are the production engineer, the production manager and the digitalisation director who needs a consolidated view of the well stock.
